Overview: Had you been anywhere near the library or administrative offices of 10 New Bond Street on Thursday, May 1, you would have seen and heard excitement racing through the halls as Christine Lee, our librarian, was on a mission of spreading good news. She had just received word from Six Flags that said our school, Abby Kelley Foster, has the distinction of being the top school in the United States of America for accumulating reading minutes in their program. With that great news comes a feature on us in the magazine Weekly Reader. In addition, one lucky student will take a drive to Six Flags, where his or her family will be the "Family of the Day." There will be a reporter present, who will document their shrieks of delight, as they enjoy the rides. Congratulations to Mrs. Lee, all of the students of Abby Kelley Foster, and to the faculty and staff. Thank you Mrs. Lee, for taking the lead in this project and bringing national accolades to our school... |
